My edit:

My steps in pse8:
-I actually opened the photo in ACR first to adjust warmth and exposure.
-stretch canvas and crop
-screen layer @ 25%
-high pass filter
-remove color cast from bucket on legs
-Fire Ants, tweaked
-edge burn
My thoughts: After last week's disastrous edge burn, I made myself re-learn how to make a soft vignette. I am so glad I did that! Also, I haven't stretched a canvas in awhile, so I am unsure if it looks natural.
Your thoughts?

I like the closer crop Amy. Nicely done.
very nice! love how you lightened it up!
your edit is great! looks sunny and summery {is that a word???} :)
I love this sunny, cheerful edit! I think you did a good job stretching the canvas... that is my favorite trick lately, haha. Had I not known what the original looked like I would have never noticed!
