Texture Tuesday - Stairs

The theme for Kim Klassen's Texture Tuesday challenge today is to use her new texture, And Then Some. The photo that I used is from the Worldwide Photo Walk on October 2. My dad and I walked with a group in a little town in Connecticut. This old railhouse is where many of us stopped for a good long while to shoot various things. I'm pretty sure everyone took a few photos of these stairs. I also fell and busted my knee, and it was kinda funny, but that's a story for another day.

I don't have a screenshot of my layers today, just a list of my steps. I started in LR3 and then switched over to pse8 to add the texture.
-crop
-auto wb, add warmth
-auto tone, decrease brightness
-increase fill light, black, clarity, & vibrance
-sharpen slightly
-my own preset - seasonal autumn
-add vignette

-Diffuse Hotspots from Amanda Padgett
-one layer of texture on soft light @ 100%
-one layer of texture on linear burn @ 100%
-desaturation layer mask, brushed off all red
-decrease brightness, add contrast

Oh no, sorry to hear you had an accident. I loved the SKelby WW walk. This is a great shot and I am sure this place had many many shots to take.
