Black and White Wednesday - Laptop issues

the long road

Black and White Wednesday is run by Lisa over at
The Long Road to China.

I am continuing my series on Connecticut state parks.

This gorgeous view is from Sleeping Giant State Park in Hamden, CT. This park is named as such because if you look at the outline of the mountain, it looks like a giant man... well, sleeping. I climbed to the top of the "nose" and found an observation tower. I saw a gorgeous sunset and this view of the LI Sound. This is a park I could definitely return to over and over.

Completely changing the subject now. I was given a new laptop at work, and I do NOT like it. I want my old one back. This one has a wide screen, so all webpages (including my lovely blog) are stretched out, and I have to scroll halfway down the page to see things. The webcam is locked. They deleted all the games (Solitaire!). And I have no programs. We are not allowed to download programs anymore, so I am without Noiseware, Photoscape, and WORST OF ALL, Photoshop Elements. I already whined about it asked the IT guy if I could get pse back, and he said he would work on it. But no guarantees.

They can take this laptop back. I don't want it.

Beautiful view! I love New England. :) I live in Western MA and I have been enjoying landscape photos lately --- need to get out and take some in the areas I have listed. This is a beautiful photo thanks for sharing.

That's a horrible predicament! Are you not allowed to purchase your own laptop and download your company's email client onto it? I worked at IBM and they let us do that. I hated all of their restrictions so it was worth it to me to purchase my own machine.
